Our dedicated and qualified team of health professionals at Yallambee Lodge provide aged care support services that are tailored to your needs. Yallambee Lodge is home to 93 rooms and offers a range of accommodation and support options for those with higher care needs, dementia and respite care for both individuals and couples.

Our compassionate team will ensure that you receive continuity of care if you need that little bit more assistance, providing ongoing comfort in a welcoming environment. Each large suite is private and spacious with an ensuite bathroom and a private external balcony or patio area. Many of the suites also have separate living and bedroom areas, making these rooms ideal to accommodate couples.

Chef-Made Meals

Exercise and Pain Management Clinic

We want you to feel your best, which is why we offer specialised on-site care when you need it. Our exercise and pain management clinic has a dedicated physiotherapy assistant and registered nurse who can help ease pain or movement complaints.

Yallambee Lodge is more than just aged care accommodation. We create a vibrant sense of community by bringing convenient services to you including our onsite hairdressing salon, library, church services, mobile dental service, and podiatrist.

Yallambee Lodge offers a leisure and lifestyle program which includes a range of activities that promote socialising, recreation and fun. Room Types & Pricing

Yallambee Lodge offers a homelike environment for residents, with sunny courtyards and gardens, communal spaces for meeting friends, and compassionate and personalised care. Yallambee Lodge has single and double rooms, all with private ensuites, located across five wings. Each room includes quality finishings, electric high/low bed, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan, television and telephone points, built-in or walk-through wardrobes, ensuite bathroom, private external balcony or patio area and plenty of natural light.

There are three different payment options for Yallambee Lodge:

Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD)

This is a lump sum payment that’s refunded when you leave. The amount is based on room pricing.

Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP)​

This is a daily payment that’s billed monthly. The amount is based on room pricing. This payment isn’t refundable when you leave.

Co-contribution or Supported Ratio​


This combines RAD and DAP payments, so you pay part lump sum and part daily payment. Only the RAD component is refundable when you leave.

Respite Care

We understand that sometimes you or a loved one may require some extra care and respite. This may be whilst recovering from injury, illness, or hospital stay, or simply when you need some time away from cooking, chores, or extended periods at home. At Yallambee Lodge, our caring staff are on-hand to welcome you into one of our comfortable rooms for your stay, which can be from as little as 14 nights and as long as 6 weeks. We’ll take care of all your needs so you can focus on recovery. Some residents also enjoy respite care as a way to easily transition and settle into life at Yallambee Lodge.

All rooms at Yallambee Lodge are private and are available to both individuals and couples.

Each room features a private ensuite to ensure that residents feel comfortable and secure.

You will pay a basic daily care fee. This fee contributes towards daily living costs e.g.: meals, cleaning, laundry. The basic daily care fee is 85% of the maximum single aged pension. The rate increases in line with the aged pension each March and September. This is a daily cost.

Accommodation Payments : The amount you are required to pay will depend on assessment of your income and assets. The Australian Government may meet full or part of this cost. This will be determined by the Department of Human Services.

Room prices at Yallambee Lodge can be found on the website –  Room Pricing Yallambee Lodge. These prices can be negotiated.

Means-tested care fee – Some people may pay an additional amount towards the cost of care. The Department of Human Services will calculate this amount based on assessment of your income and assets.

Yallambee Lodge respects the freedom and independence of residents. Residents can enter and leave the facility when desired.

Unfortunately dogs or cats are not able to live in Yallambee Lodge., although a bird or fish may be allowed if requested and permission given.

A variety of delicious and nutritious meals are cooked fresh on site daily by our catering team, with an assortment of options available, including meals for special needs diets.

Pain Clinic – A specialised Pain Clinic with a devoted physiotherapy assistant and Registered Nurse puts Yallambee Lodge in a market of its own, allowing residents to receive specialised care within Yallambee Lodge.

Onsite Services – Yallambee Lodge is practical and comfortable, bringing easier access to external services including onsite hairdressing salon, resident library, church services, mobile dental service and a podiatrist.

Yallambee Lodge runs a special monthly program, which caters to the various needs of residents. Recreational activity officers design targeted activity programs aimed at encouraging enjoyment on behalf of all residentss ensuring that every level of care is met.

The monthly activity programs range from day trips to a variety of in house activities including theme days, concerts, BBQ days, movie days, birthday celebrations and quizzes.

Gosford District Hospital is located 3km from Yallambee Lodge and Gosford Private Hospital is only 4.6km from Yallambee Lodge.

When living in Yallambee Lodge you remain independent and are free to make your own choices and decisions.

All beds are provided by Yallambee Lodge, unfortunately personal beds are not permitted.
