As a not-for-profit organisation, Evergreen Life Care relies on the generosity and support from our local community through the selfless work of volunteers, as well as donations and bequests.
If you feel our work is valuable, or you have benefited in some way, you can play a vital role in inspiring hope and creating community by supporting our work. Whether you make a donation, leave a gift in your Will, or volunteer your time or services, your contribution helps to enhance the quality of life for each person in our care.
How to Make a Donation
You can donate by way of financial contributions, materials, services provided and personal or household items. You can make contributions toward particular projects or the overall betterment of the Village’s services and facilities. Donations over $2 to Evergreen Life Care are tax-deductible. Upon receipt of your donation, we’ll send you a tax-deductible receipt in the mail.
In Memoriam Donation
You may choose to support us by providing an in memoriam donation in lieu of flowers at the funeral of a loved one. A gift to Evergreen Life Care in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to remember someone, and help improve the lives of the sick, frail, elderly, and marginalised people we care for every day. You can direct your gift to Evergreen Life Care or individual services that you would like to help, or to where it’s most needed.
Upon receipt of your Memoriam donation, we will notify the family of the person you have made your donation in memory of, to let them know about your gift. We only advise them that you have made a gift, not the amount of your donation. We will also send you a tax-deductible receipt in the mail.
You can make an in memoriam donation by phone or by mail by using this Memoriam donation form.
You may wish to ask friends or family to give a donation to Evergreen Life Care in lieu of flowers at the funeral of a loved one. Please contact us on (02) 4349 2300 and we will arrange for our donation envelopes to be delivered directly to you or to your funeral director.
