Chris is a senior health leader with more than 20 years’ experience spanning clinical practice, policy, and strategy. Originally trained as a physiotherapist, he has held leadership roles in government and large healthcare organisations, known for turning complex challenges into practical, people-centred solutions. His work has spanned hospitals, primary care, health promotion, and system reform.

Chris is passionate about creating positive change and is excited to contribute to the Evergreen Board. Outside of work, he enjoys family life with his wife, two teenage sons, and their Labrador Dougie — a much-loved member of the household and a regular volunteer at a local school, helping children build reading confidence.
