Melanie is a senior executive and board director with more than 20 years’ experience across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. She brings deep expertise in governance, public policy, and systems reform, with a focus on inclusive, values-led leadership. Melanie has held executive roles across government and the not-for-profit sector, managing change in complex environments and guiding national organisations through regulatory, cultural, and service delivery challenges.

A graduate and active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she has chaired boards and served on audit and governance committees. Her leadership is grounded in ethics, trust, and accountability. As both an academic and person with disability, Melanie brings unique insight into cultural safety, co-designed reform, and social inclusion — blending lived experience with academic rigour to create lasting impact.
